"Someone needs your star"

Last Sunday, the Young Womens group got to sing in Sacarament meeting. I wore one of my favorite dresses.

Brian bought this dress for me right before our wedding. I love it because it reminds me of something you might see in Greece or something.

Okay, I am getting ready to bring you into my world and share a little of my heart and hopefully, my talent as I sing to you our special song.

The song is called "Someone needs your star" by Jenny Phillips, an LDS singer. (Notice the little dingle hopper in the background being silly the whole time? I had no idea what she was doing behind me until I went back and watched the video...too funny).

Later that night, this is what I found that Zoey had done while Mama and Daddy laid down for a little Sunday cat nap.

No help, huh? What a little stinker pot!

This is Zoey's watermelon outfit. Doesn't she look just ridiculously cute?

She insists upon packing herself a purse of toys, bringing at least two stuffed animals or else a baby doll with us wherever we go.

Zoey's Buggie

Zoey found a cute little starfish buggie this morning and wanted to play with it. I caught some great shots in this perfect little patch of morning sunlight. She even helped.

Home from a Young Womens activity

Being the secretary, I go to Young womens activities every Thursday night after school. Here are some photos of the girls and leaders in the Miamaids.When I got home, I found this...
My two half-starved little cutiepies, eating cold plain spaggetti out of a bowl by hand like two little wild jungle monkeys watching cartoons.
This is "fend for yourself" night. Good job guys! Now lets go make some real food Papa bear.
Next, its bathtime for Zoey. She played in the tub for nearly two hours and when I came in to ask her if she was ready to get out, she holds her finger up to her lips and tells me,"Shhhh Mama, the mommy and babies are all sleeping."

Zoey loves to draw so, we got her some chalk.
Mama likes to watch and take lots of pictures.

We are as happy as can be.

Two dorks dancing

Okay, Debbie asked if I caught a video of Zoey being silly and dancing the day she had all my jewelry on and it just so happens, of course, that I did. She is adorable, as usual, but, I acted so ridiculous that after I watched it, I intentionally left it out of the post that day. So, anyway-here it is and no laughing at my silly dancing legs at the end!

Zoey's Bedtime

At night, Zoey's routine is to eat dinner, get her teeth brushed, pick out a book for story time, get tucked in with hugs and kisses, turn on her night light and then, it's lights out with the door closed. Well, I put Zoey to bed and thought she was sleeping until I walked by and heard these cute little murmurings from within. I opened the door...

To find one happy, wide awake, little Zoey, sitting down, with her blanky spread out like a little picnic on the floor right next to her pile of library books, reading aloud to her baby bear.

Of course, she wanted to stay up and play, so, I, being the strict mother that I am, completely obliged and let her do what ever she wanted while I took pictures and videos. What torture.

"Yup, I've got my Mommy wrapped all the way around my little pinkie finger!"

Okay, so here is a photo of what Zoey's doll house usually looks like when she is done playing with and setting it up. Notice a few interesting things? One puppy is in the highchair, and the other is drinking out of the toilet! Oh yeah, and hmmm...where is the Daddy doll? Ha ha. So realistic, Zoe Zoe! (Just playing Brian- If I had to get up at 5 O'clock in the morning, I would fall asleep on the couch too.) So cute!

However, the true purpose of this first photo is to show you the 'before and after' of Zoey's dollhouse extraveganaza! I joked with Brian that this next photo looked like something out of the movie animal house or some frat party with the house a disaster, a cop car parked in the bedroom, everyone sleeping in chairs downstairs and crazy things hanging from the ceiling...

"Yeah! House party!" Just kidding.

Here is a video of Zoey playing with her toys. This will give you an idea of how she plays and spends a lot of her time, creating little imaginary senarios for her toys to go on special little adventures together.

So, Zoey has finally discovered how to open the fridge and makes attempts at self-service but, I finally caught her in the act!

Just look at those curls! She looks just like a little spider monkey climbing!

Zoey's Tribal Dance

Here is Zoey this morning acting like a goof ball after she got into Mama's drawer of fun jewelry. She looks as if she is doing some cool tribal dance in the photos.

"I put a spell on you to love me forever and give me what ever I ask for...Jinx."

On night I gave Zoey the camera, after much begging, and told her, "Alright, go take some pictures for Mama to put on our blog page." So, here they are...not bad for a begginer and a two year old at that!
